Egg hunts happening in four communities Saturday
Get ready for a B.Y.O.B. party at the Creemore Village Green Saturday. That’s “Bring Your Own Basket” to the Easter egg hunt.
Park manager Jeremy Mantesso says the fun will begin at 10 a.m. on April 19.
“We’ll have live music performances including Kendal Lilley plus face- painting, a martial arts demonstration, and activities led by Imaginarium Adventures In Art,” said Mantesso. “The Easter egg hunt gets underway at 10:30 a.m.”
In addition to 10,000 chocolate-filled eggs, special eggs with treats from Creemore businesses will be hidden in the park and there is a raffle for a three-foot tall, 12-pound chocolate bunny from YF Patissier Chocolatier. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for photos with the kids.
The Creemore egg hunt is one of four area events hosted by Clearview Community Church. Activities are free, and open to children 12 and under.
The other egg hunts presented by Clearview Community Church are taking place at Centennial Park in Stayner (240 Brock St.), the church at 20 Batteaux Road in Nottawa, and the church at 800 Sunnidale Road in Wasaga Beach. All events begin at 10 a.m. on April 19.
