Transit system under review with survey and open houses

 In News

As part of a review of current transit service, Clearview Township is holding two virtual open houses and is conducting a survey until Nov. 11.

In collaboration with Left Turn Right Turn Consulting, township staff has been analyzing ridership trends, reviewing routes, and consulting with local employers.

“Clearview’s transit system is a vital part of our community, and we want to ensure it meets the needs of everyone who relies on it,” said Mayor Doug Measures. “This study is an opportunity for all residents and transit riders to have their voices heard and help shape the future of our local transit. I encourage you to attend the open houses or complete the survey – your input is invaluable as we work together to improve service for all.”

The virtual open houses are from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 29 and from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 30.

The survey, which includes the proposed new Stayner route, is online at clearview.ca and tinyurl. com/clearviewtransit.

Paper copies are available on Clearview Transit buses, at town hall in Stayner and at all branches of Clearview Public Library.
