Join the Mad River Hiking Club on an easy two-hour hike that starts in Avening and takes the hiker on trail and road into Creemore where we will then continue to hike down quiet back streets and learn some of the history of the town, including the log cabin and the smallest jail in North America. We will also stop for a hot beverage and snack. Hike starts at 10 a.m., meeting at Creemore and District Recreation Centre, 218 Collingwood St., Creemore. We will car shuttle to Avening.
