Cleary, Raymond Milton of St. Thomas passed away peacefully with family at his side on Friday, June 15, 2018 at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Lona Marie Cleary (2012). Loving father of Ronald Cleary (Linda) of Sarnia, Don Cleary (Marsha) of St. Thomas, Dale Cleary (Ruth) of St. Thomas, and Karen Zegers (Colin) of St. Thomas. Dear grandfather of Jason, Jodi, Rianne, Kenzie, Shelby, Brodie, Tyler, Kaitlin, Kayla and several great-grandchildren and extended family. Missed by siblings Lorne, Lyall, Dalton, Melvin, Cora and Bonnie. Ray is predeceased by his brother Ernest and sister Doris. Raymond was born on August 25, 1930, in Dunedin, Ontario, son of the late Gordon and Ella Cleary. Ray worked in construction in his younger years, was a milkman for Silverwood Dairy and was a small business owner of Rae-Mar Building Products. He was a long time member of St. Thomas Knox Presbyterian Church. As per Ray’s wishes there will be no memorial service. Cremation has already taken place. A private family graveside service at St. Thomas Union Cemetery will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home, 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570).
