“Men with Brooms” travel to Quebec City

The 105th year of the Quebec International Bonspiel was held in Quebec City from Jan. 28-31.  Representing  Creemore were  Paul Crevier, Gordon Fuller, Howard WalkerMatthew Fuller, Nathan Fuller and Bill Neelin.

The team had a record of four wins and two losses with the final result as runners up in the Consulab Cup, which is in the Grand Aggregate event.

Notable recognitions  this year were, Paul Crevier, 30 years, and Howard Walker, 15 years attendance.

Team member Jamie Brown of Stayner was unable to attend as his father, Neil Brown (coach), was ill and passed away on Jan. 31.

In Neilʼs memory, the Ontario Cup was co-sponsored  by the Brown family and Creemore Springs Brewery, which was presented by  Matthew Fuller  to the winners from Regina, Saskatchewan.

We wish to thank Creemore Springs Brewery for their continued support to the Quebec International Bonspiel and to team Creemore.
