From the Hack: On Monday, Team Steed, with stand-in skip Joan, managed an easy win over Team McDougall. Sandy, the skip of Team McKay, was throwing excellent stones in the first half of the game against Team Walker, just missing a 5-ender in the 3rd. But not to be discouraged, she drew in to the house perfectly with her last shot in the 5th, to count a big 5, and eventually notch up a first win.
Wednesday had Teams Crevier and Steed battling to a tie with skips Karen and Joan trading impressive shots! Liz, the skip of Team Smith, delivered some superb stones to rack up their first win, beating Team McKay. Good curling everyone!

Huskinson 0-1
Leimgardt 0-1
From the Hack: The last draw of the season began Monday night with the Ladies playing for the Husker House Trophy.
This draw is a vice/skip switch. The vices move into the skip role to learn strategy and making more difficult shots.
There were two back and forth games with the enthusiastic rookie skips enjoying the challenges in thinking and throwing.
