Allan Howard Curran died suddenly on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood in his 90th year. Allan formerly of Stayner, beloved husband and best friend of Margaret (nee Kinghan) for over 62 years. Loving father of Cynthia (Fred Lawson), Douglas (Mary), Candace (John Widdis) and the late Mitchell. Cherished grandfather of Anita (Steve Morrison), Janice and Crystal Lawson and Emily and Austin Widdis. Dear brother of Arnold (Inger), Frank (Nellie),the late Dalton (the late Lois), the late Gordon (Pat), the late Shirley (Dave Fachnie) and the late Walter (the late Rose). Brother-in-law of Victor (Lee) Kinghan, the late Sam (Mary) Kinghan and the late Rea (the late Betty) Kinghan. Allan will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews, his friends and his neighbours. Allan was a long time member of the Georgian Bay Steam Club. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funereal Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 2 p.m to 4 pm. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Cremation with interment at Creemore Union Cemetery.
