Ernest Hilts passed away peacefully on Sunday September 30, 2018 at Collingwood General & Marine Hospital in his 94th year.

Lovingly surrounded by his sons Ernie Jr. and Dan (Teresa), daughter Janice (Etienne) and brother Bob (Karen), and family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Mary Lynn (1995). Ernie is also predeceased by siblings Abner, Elwood, Orval, Lawrence, Joseph and Jean. Ernie Sr. was loved and will be greatly missed by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Fawcett Funeral Home- Creemore Chapel. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Interment following the service at New Lowell United Cemetery.
