Kin spirit shown at blood drive

 In Community

The Kinette Club of Collingwood, the newly re-chartered Kinsmen Club of Collingwood and the Stayner and District Kinsmen gave the gift of life at the Collingwood Blood Donor Clinic at the Collingwood Legion on Nov. 13. The group collected lifesaving donations for hospital patients and helped to spread awareness for the need of blood donors.
Not only were they able to spread the positive message of donation, they were able to share their Kin spirit by greeting donors as they arrived. A very big thank you goes out to the coordinators, nurses, volunteers, supporters and of course, the donors, making this clinic a success. The Kinettes had three first-time donors in their group and they hope to have even more at the next clinic they attend.
These clinics are incredibly inspiring and community driven. You never know when you or someone you love will need blood.
Check your eligibility and book your next appointment at www.blood.ca. It’s in you to give!
