New chair elected for Creemore Medical Centre

Marg Purkis is the new chair of the Creemore Medical Centre service board.

“We will be rebuilding the board and the focus of the medical centre will be on program development and new doctor recruitment,” she said.

The position became vacant after the chair and two other members resigned for various reasons.

Clearview Township council, earlier this month, directed the CAO to work with the committee and report back to council with an action plan regarding the Creemore Medical Centre’s outstanding lease on Feb. 9.
