Siskins advance to Schmaltz Cup semi finals

The Stayner Siskins have won the north conference playoff and are moving on to the Schmaltz Cup semi finals, taking on the Lakefield Chiefs.

Stayner beat Mount Forest in the north conference championship, losing only one of five games. They won Game 5 at home on March 29, with a final score of 5-2.

The series begins April 5, with a home ice opener at 8:10 p.m. and continues with home games Sunday at 1:30 p.m. and April 12 at 8:10 p.m.

Also in the semi-finals, the Glanbrook Rangers are playing the Lambeth Lancers.
