Morag Campbell Stratton passed away peacefully in the palliative care unit at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto on June 28, 2018. Morag arrived in Canada almost 40 years ago to live with the Arrell family. Her favourite place in Canada for the last 17 years was to visit and stay in the hills of Mulmur where she enjoyed her communing with nature as well as extending her broad circle of friends. Morag also had the opportunity to put into practice her rural  farming skills learned in Perthshire. Morag traveled to Scotland annually to visit her Scottish siblings: Jim (Christine), David (Denise), Fay (Colin McIntosh), and Ann (Willie Grant). Morag’s adopted Canadian family includes Tony and Anne Arrell and children: Laura (Erik Joyal), Cameron (deceased), Ashleigh (Andrew Creighton) and Nicole Arrell Special “Nan” to Peyton, Cameron and Mackenzie Joyal, plus Marly and Rascal (Harlow) Creighton Morag is a cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews in Scotland. Morag’s zest for life, her compassion and her acute wit will be missed by many. Cremation has taken place and her ashes will be distributed in the Mulmur Hills and in Perthshire.
