Suspect sought in two sexual assault cases

On Jan. 1, 2017, at approximately 1:20 a.m., a 17-year-old female was walking through a residential area near Birch Street and Second Street in Collingwood. She was forced into a vehicle and assaulted.

On July 28, 2015, at approximately 12:56 a.m., a 23-year-old female was walking home from a bus station near Rogers Road and Dufferin Street in Toronto. She was approached by the suspect, forced into an alley and assaulted. Police have confirmed that both sexual assaults were committed by the same individual. It has been a year since the second incident and the OPP and the Toronto Police Service continue to investigate the two connected sexual assault cases. The suspect is described as a male with brown skin, 5’7”, mid 20s to 30s with a beard and of medium build. The suspect’s car is described as a four-door sedan (2005-2010), silver/grey or tan in colour with black steel winter rims.
