Bring back the EV rebate

I highly commend The Echo’s August 22 letter-from-the-editor in support of electric vehicles (EVs). While we have been witnessing a blip in the carbon-free movement politically, we all need to look ahead, and to take concrete steps that will leave a better world for our children and grandchildren.

Auto experts agree that the “pause” in the federal rebate program has reduced the sales of EVs. Please Mr. Carney, let’s get it back! And Mr. Ford, Ontario should join other provinces in also providing an EV rebate program.
