School in need of new Chromebooks

 In Letters, Opinion

Editor:

Nottawasaga and Creemore Public School is reaching out to our community for support as we work to update our classroom technology. Many of our Chromebooks are reaching the end of their lifespan, and our goal this year is to replace and expand our supply so that students have reliable access to the tools they need for modern learning.

Each Chromebook, including the required school programming, costs approximately $450-$500. These devices are essential for supporting student learning, research, and digital literacy – skills that are increasingly vital in today’s classrooms and beyond.

We are asking our generous community members to consider making a donation to help us reach our technology fundraising goal for the year. Donations can be made directly at the school office. Donation receipts will be issued for all contributions and can be mailed or picked up at the school office for your convenience.

Your support will make a meaningful difference in ensuring our students have the resources they need to learn, create, and thrive.

With sincere thanks,

Vickie Brulotte,

On behalf of Nottawasaga and Creemore Public School parent council.
