Kindness abounds at food bank
Editor:
St. Luke’s Community Food Bank would like to thank everyone who has helped in any way. As a community, you generously donate your time and talents to assist us with our weekly sorting and delivering. We also have community members who freely donate cash and gift cards for our clients. A huge “thank you” goes out to our businesses and individuals who kindly donate fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, eggs, bread, and non-perishable items. Without the consistent and dedicated assistance from the entire community, we, at St. Luke’s Community Food Bank, would not be able to support so many families with healthy nourishing food on a weekly basis.
We are so overwhelmed and grateful for all of the support we received at Christmas. The children in the families were able to enjoy generously donated gifts and gift cards. We know their parents appreciated all of your thoughtfulness.
We have created a “time lapse” video of our set up on Dec. 19 through to the completion of our deliveries on Dec. 20. We hope you will take a look at it and see what a wonderful difference you have made in the lives of our fellow community members. We are lucky to have such amazing people devoted to ensuring all recipients are able to have healthy, nourishing food to help make their lives better.

Thank you very much.
