Free puzzle exchanges at library branches
T’is the night before the Christmas Parades and all of the festive weekend fun taking place in Clearview Township!
The crew at Clearview Public Library aims to be out and about participating in all of the holiday cheer taking place in Creemore and Stayner but back in our branches (warming stations on Saturday), we do provide quiet time with stress relief and boredom buster activities.
Our free puzzle exchange is available at the Creemore, New Lowell and Stayner branches. Take one. Donate one. Donate and take as many as you like. We just gently ask that puzzles are complete with all their pieces. This program runs year-round.
The Letters to Santa program is active and runs until noon on Tuesday, Dec. 9. Pop into your favourite branch this Saturday between parades and write your letter to Santa, participate in our weekly themed Scavenger Hunt Bingo and choose a puzzle, book and/or DVD.
Some great new titles available are Bog Queen by Anna North, The WayFinder by Adam Johnson and The Family Jewels by Caimh McDonnell (Michele’s picks). All staff are happy to assist with recommendations to make the most out of your quiet moments this holiday season.
