Experience the magic of an authentic Victorian Christmas at the Simcoe County Museum, Dec. 7-8 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Capture the essence of the Victorian era. Glide through the picturesque forest on a horse drawn wagon, walk along the outdoor pathways as the soft glow of lanterns illuminate your way, hear sounds of the holiday season as carollers fill the air with festive music, and be captivated by the wonders of an antique Magic Lantern show.
Explore the festivities further by shopping for one- of-a-kind gifts from local artisans or try your hand at creating traditional crafts and treats to take home and enjoy! You may even catch a glimpse of Father Christmas.
Admission is by donation. All proceeds go to the Friends of the Simcoe County Museum, a not-for- profit organization that supports the Museum through fundraising, volunteering, and assistance with special events.
Visitors are also encouraged to bring donations for the County of Simcoe Paramedic Services Food and Toy Drive.
