Creemore hosts Terry Fox Run

Organizers are reporting the 2019 Creemore Terry Fox Run was a big success. The Sept. 15 event had 33 participants and raised more than $3,500 a record for the local run, which has bounced between Creemore and Terra Nova since 1982. Some of the participants have been involved for more than 20 years. The youngest participants, Liam Duke (centre), was so inspired by Terry Fox when he learned of what he accomplished that he became impassioned to do the run, get others to do so, and to fundraise as much as possible.
