Donations help families head to back to school

 In Community

As we look ahead to returning to school, for many families, purchasing essential supplies can be difficult. Necessities such as backpacks, school supplies and running shoes are costly to families and can cause financial burdens for some. We want to relieve some of that burden and support the students who are going back to school this September.
With the school year fast approaching, Clearview Community Church is excited to present the Running Back to School Event.
This first-ever event will provide students with a new pair of running shoes, a backpack, supplies for back to school, and a food hamper. All of these things will be provided at no cost to the student. This event is open to students in the following areas: Stayner, Creemore, Wasaga Beach, New Lowell, Nottawa and Collingwood. The Township of Clearview has given a generous grant of $2,500 to provide new running shoes for students in need. If you’re interested in donating to help, please visit www.clearviewcommunity.church/giving (Please indicate that this is for the Back-to-School Event).
If you are in need or know of a family in need of support with back-to-school supplies, please call the church office at 705 428 6543 or contact Pastor Natalie at natalieb@clearviewcommunitychurch.ca (Please note that spots are limited.)
