Season 16 of Be the Change is on Wednesday, March 20, 7 p.m. at Simcoe Street Theatre.

The Last Stand uses the flashpoint of British Columbia’ Fairy Creek stand-off to examine the importance of keeping intact forest ecosystems. The film reveals the complexity of issues facing the world: the need to protect habitat, while balancing the local economy and jobs while also recognizing the rights of First Nations people. Finally, The Last Stand looks at solutions…both to technological developments and to things average citizens can do.
