FORD, Wayne Fredrick

1940-2022 Passed away suddenly at home in Collingwood on Thursday, January 13, 2022 in his 82nd year. Wayne was born on October 4, 1940 in Stayner, Ontario to parents Viola (nee Knuff) and Fredrick Ford. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee Reynolds) Ford for 27 years. Dear father of John Ford of London. He will be missed by his sister Isabel (Lorne) Cleary of Creemore, and sister-in-law Helen Ford of Collingwood. Uncle to Linda Gubicza and Glen Ford. Wayne will also be missed by his cousin Mary Ellen (Gord) Sheffield and Mary Holt. Predeceased by his parents and brother Raymond Ford. Wayne worked as a pipe fitter for Local 46 Toronto for many years until his retirement. He loved classic automobiles and would attend many cruise and classic car shows. The family would like to thank the staff of Saint Elizabeth for their care, kindness and support. Cremation has taken place. Interment will be held in the spring at Stayner Union Cemetery.
