Payment, Stephan Paul died peacefully on Friday February 19, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his family at the age of 62. Beloved husband of Anna for over 42 years. Much loved father of Roree (Heather Ardley) and Tuker (Jennifer). Cherished Poppa of Addison, Kailee, Alexa, Molly, Kyleigh and Taryn. Loving son of Elaine and the late Allan Payment. Dear brother of Danny (Sharon Sharp), Allan (Joanne), Monique (Rob Mark) and Debbie (Glen Meheden) and brother-in-law of Theresa (Gary Jonkhout). Steve will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours. A very kind and gentle man with a great sense of humour who could recite lines from movies he watched 40 years ago just to get a laugh. His first love was family and his second love was music. As a member of Williams High School in Aurora, ON, he was involved with many bands, including the early version of Glass Tiger. He had a truly amazing guitar collection and for anyone who knew him, you knew he couldn’t spend much time without a guitar in his hands and would spend hours just picking away. As an avid camper he came by it honestly, he would often talk about all the camping trips as a boy with his mom, dad and siblings. He truly idolized his parents and took every opportunity to talk about them with his kids and grandkids. He was very proud of his 2 sons, talking them up whenever he could and absolutely adored his 6 granddaughter’s. But above all it was the love of his life, Anna, that made him smile the biggest and brought the most joy to his heart. He will be deeply missed and fondly remember. On February 19, 2021 the world lost a great one. The family is making plans for a celebration of life early summer.
