Stayner Kinsmen host ninth annual duck race

The Stayner Kinsmen are hosting the ninth annual duck race on May 7 at Centennial Park.

There will be live music performed by Southern Comfort band, we will have the Kinsmen BBQ set up with loads of fun games and activities for the entire family to enjoy.

The event will kick off at 11 a.m. with family fun, great music, good food and cold beer. A beer and cider garden will be open to anyone 19 and older.

Races will begin at 1 p.m. with the elementary school race, to be followed by the corporate businesses race, and finally the main race.

Prizes for the main race are as follows: 1st: $700; 2nd: $400; 3rd: $200; 4th: $100; 5th: $50; 6th: $50.

Tickets are available for purchase at various locations including Stayner Home Hardware, Hamilton Brothers and Wasaga Beach Home Hardware.
