Medical Centre Board dissolution smells of empire building

 In Letters, Opinion

We live in a wonderful community. One of its greatest strengths is the number of retirees and others who willingly share their years of business and organizing skills voluntarily.

The decision of township council to disband the Medical Centre Board smells of empire building. Why does township council wish to replace those volunteers with expensive bureaucrat hours?

A year from now we should ask how many more tax dollars it took to replace the work done by experienced, capable volunteers.
