Nature preserve littered with dog excrement

We recently took our dog for a hike on the Creemore Nature Preserve. We were both very disappointed and disgusted to discover that the long trail from the parking area to the entrance of the reserve was littered with dog excrement. This was not just a few droppings.
Surely it is not asking too much for dog owners to pick up after their pets so that this beautiful property may be enjoyed as was originally intended. We are sure that the Mingay family, who made this wonderful gift to the Creemore community, would have been equally disappointed to have observed the unpleasant sight that we observed.
