Road infrastructure, real issue

 In Letters, Opinion

Editor:
The tone of your editorial about bicycles sharing the road was disappointing. Bicycles on the road aren’t the problem, they are the solution. Non-polluting, making no demand on infrastructure and taking up less road space than any other vehicle, they have the greatest moral right to the road.
The real issue is that road infrastructure in Clearview ignores the fact they exist. If there is no bike lane, where are cyclists supposed to ride?
Grey County has been busy repaving Town of the Blue Mountain roads with ample shoulders lanes for bikes. Need more of that here.
George Tesseris,
Stayner.
