Naturopath says farewell

 In Letters, Opinion

Creemore,

I’m writing with a heavy heart to inform you that we will be closing The Creemore Apothecary on Dec. 22.

A number of factors have led to this difficult decision including staffing issues, a changing retail climate but mainly the exciting evolution of my charity – The Apothecary Wellness Foundation. The demand of spearheading a growing charity, running a busy wellness clinic in Toronto, and raising two kids has made it apparent that my time and efforts are needed in the city.

I have loved being a member of the Creemore community and caring for such an amazing patient base. It has been a dream come true to work alongside so many great practitioners and be able to create a space that provides all the things that I love to the community – wellness, alternative medicine and a place where folks have access to information and health products. I feel very proud of the clinic/ store that I created and the success it’s garnered but like all things in life, it’s now time for a new chapter.

If you are a patient of mine, I will be reaching out to you about continuation of care options. If you are a patient of Natalie Foot, RMT, Dr. Ashleigh Stableforth or Brittany Eng, we will be reaching out to you on how to contact them and continue your care going forwards.

I wish you all the very best in the year to come and hope that our paths cross around town. Thank you all for helping this dream of The Creemore Apothecary come to fruition.

Be well,
Dr. Kate Hunter, ND
