Chordelicious quartet brings Christmas carols to Creemore shopping kick-off
The Chordelicious quartet will be strolling main street Saturday during Creemore’s kick-off to the holiday shopping season.
The a cappella group will entertain shoppers with holiday selections performed in four-part harmony.
Members are with Harmony North Chorus based in Collingwood, in association with Sweet Adelines International, and have been practising for a busy holiday season of performances.
Chordelicious formed in June when the four singers where cherrypicked by the members of the chorus to form a new quartet.
“We’ve had a lot of fun and we’re really looking forward to coming to Creemore,” said tenor Nancy Waddington, who performed in Creemore during last year’s event when she was a member of Uncorked.
The quartet will be wandering throughout town in costume performing holiday classics arranged in barbershop style.
Chordelicious will also be performing at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 26 in the Gazebo for the European Christmas Market event in Wasaga Beach, and at the Harmony North Chorus Concert in Collingwood on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 7 p.m.
The shopping kick off event, hosted by Creemore BIA is on Nov. 25 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will also feature horse-and-wagon rides, and sip-and- shop offerings at local stores.
