Library gears up for fall programming

 In Events

Summer 2021 may have come and gone but fall 2021 is just about to burst open with all sorts of action at Clearview Public Library including Culture Day Events (www.culturedays.ca), the Simcoe County Author Talk Series, the 12th Annual Georgian Bay Reads, and our monthly Book Club Meeting. Children and teen programming will start up again at the end of this month.
Please register at www.clearview.library.on.ca to “be part of the audience in the comfort of your home” for the Simcoe County Author Talk Series presentations. There are two special guests this month who will be talking about their very engaging books. One to hear Ashley Audrain, author of The Push, on Thursday, Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. and the other is Ken Haigh, author of On Foot to Canterbury, on Thursday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m.
This month’s book club selection is Vi by Kim Thuy. Please call 705-428-3595 to reserve your copy and mark your calendar for a lively discussion about this story of rupture and resurrection that will take place via Zoom on Tuesday, Sept. 28 at 2 p.m.
Let’s crack open those books this September and “fall” in love with reading all over again!
